Director of Kids Ministry
The core values of our Children’s Ministry are found in Luke 2:52 where it says that”Jesus grew in wisdom, and in stature and in favor with God and man”. Our ministry philosophy is rooted in the principles found in that verse. Our prayer is that children come to genuine saving faith in Christ and develop into fully devoted followers of Him.
No one has more potential to influence a child’s relationship with God than a parent or guardian. The reason is simple—time. There are 52 weekends in a year, but how often will we see each child with vacations, sports and traveling for holidays? A church only has about 40 hours in a given year to directly influence a child, while an average parent has closer to 3,000 hours in the same year! Both the church and home are equally important and can complement each other when it comes to a child’s spiritual development. It’s not either church or home; it’s both.
For the month of March, Calvary Kids wants to focus on helping you as a parent to reach your kids spiritually in the home. We’re calling the month of March “Home Team.” Each Sunday in the month of March, you and your child will go home with a new resource to help you connect physically and spiritually. It’s the prayer of Calvary Kids, that you would use these tools diligently together as a family to grow closer to each other and closer to God. Here’s what you have to look forward to for the month of March:
March 3 – Signup for Family Serve Saturday on March 9
March 10 – Love Languages
March 17 – Home Team Activity
March 24 – Wow, Pow, Ka-Chow

The cornerstone of our Children’s Ministry is our Bible Fellowship classes. Children are challenged every Sunday to trust God no matter what, make wise decisions according to God’s Word, and to treat others the way they want to be treated. God’s word will always be taught in a relevant way so the child can put it into practice throughout the week. These classes are led by equipped adult volunteers who build caring relationships with the children as they provide an energetic atmosphere for learning.
Classes are provided for all 1st through 5th graders.
Winter launch starts on January 6th so if you’re not in a Kids Bible Fellowship class, come join one of our awesome, fun classes that day as we start a new series!
Calvary Kids Worship is a high-energy Sunday morning gathering for kids to learn about God with teaching on their level and engaging worship.

Hey families! We are VERY excited to announce that we now have Calvary Kids Worship in Dining Room B at Calvary Central. If you don’t know, Calvary Kids Worship is a safe, fun and energetic environment for kids to learn how to worship. It starts at 10:30a and will last until the end of service, directly following your Bible Fellowship classes.
Here is how your kids will check in:
Please pick your child up promptly after the 9:00a hour. You and your child will walk through the lobby, then down the stairs across from the Media Center, next to the elevator. Once you get downstairs there will be music and friendly faces to welcome you! There will be kiosks in front of the rest rooms to check-in your kid(s). We will take them from there and will see you after service or Bible Fellowship!
