INITIATIVES

Bring It In

Each month we link hands with a partner organization to collect items that are useful for their ministry. Because so many of our partner organizations rely heavily on donations for the basic functioning of their ministry, Bring It In is an easy but important way to assist the work of community ministries.

Children's Ministry

In an effort to help parents engage their children in ministry, we organize age appropriate service opportunities for kids to understand that God can use them to share His love even at a young age. Activities vary from providing cookies for fire fighters to arts and crafts at the family homeless shelter to prayer walking in local neighborhoods.

Emergency Personnel Ministry

The emergency personnel community, which consists of the fire, police, sheriff, and EMS departments, provide an invaluable service to our city extending protection and security. We want to thank, encourage, and support our social servants by serving them. We pray for the emergency personnel in Winston-Salem knowing they risk their lives for the well being of our city. We make it our goal to adopt every fire station in the city providing meals, baked goods cards, etc. We also provide resources that will personally encourage as well as strengthen marriage and families recognizing that the relationships of our emergency personnel are under much stress.
