Recreation and sports are a unique way to connect you to Christ. From children to adults, we have something unique for everyone. We want to help you be active and healthy. Find an activity for you and invite a friend to participate with you.
H.I.S. offers league play for 1st-6th grade boys and girls and volunteer leadership opportunities for adults, parents and older youth. Program runs October through the end of February. All games are played on Saturday with one practice scheduled during the week. Practice day varies weekly due to gym availability. For information, call 336.714.5460.
Hoops4Him is a basketball program for 5th–12th grade boys and girls. It is a predominately church based organization that plays games on Saturdays and some on week nights.
It is divided into the following grade break down: 5-6 coed, 7-12 girls, 7-9 boys, and 10-12 boys.
his is a great way to connect others in to community, provide fellowship and fun competition, and reach people in our city through the game of basketball. The Recreational League will play on Mondays starting November 7 and the Competitive League will play on Thursdays starting on November 10.
45 minute class to stretch, strengthen, and get your heart pumping using chairs, balls, or rubber bands. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. 9:00a in the Aerobics Room at Calvary Central. No fee.
One hour military style work out challenges body, mind, and spirit. Training Officer, Gary Strohshein. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday . 5:30a-6:45a . AROC (gym for inclement weather or temperatures below 40). Fee ($20) by 8 week cycle.
REFIT® is a fitness community. Our vision is to create a fitness experience that changes people from the inside out, and this vision is accomplished by focusing on the heart as a muscle AND a soul. People don’t have to get fit in order to be fit at REFIT® –our workouts are designed for every body regardless of age, shape, size or ability. REFIT® creates a powerful, uplifting fitness experience that lasts well beyond the workout. This is a great opportunity for women, men, and families to exercise and fellowship together! Children are welcome and the program is completely free! Classes starting in January in the youth room at our West Campus to kick off the new year right.
Men’s Softball Leagues are played during the spring and summer on Monday’s, Tuesday’s and Thursday’s and coed league on Friday’s.

Calvary sponsors various blood drives throughout the year. Our next blood drive is scheduled for October 15th at Calvary Central.

Open from dawn to dusk seasonally for use of the track and the fit trail apparatus. (Note: One mile distance on the walking track is 2.5 times around in a figure 8.) A reservation is required for use of the picnic shelter and the fields.
