Community:Serve As a church, our desire is for each person in our congregation to have a personal, growing, and serving faith. It is this desire for faith, discipleship, and service that drives us to be a church committed to reaching out to our neighbors with the hope of the gospel. We recognize that God has called us to not only enjoy the benefits of being a part of a faith family, but also to be a faith family that is mindful of the larger community in which we are planted. With this in mind, we are eager to reach out to our neighbors expressing our faith through acts of service that they may see the heart of Christ and be drawn to Him. In an effort to provide a platform for service, we have organized COMMUNITY: SERVE 2010. We seek to mobilize our church to serve neighbors in both Winston-Salem and Davie County in Jesus name. Whatever your gifts, interests, age, gender, there is a place for you to serve! Keep in mind that COMMUNITY: SERVE is a starting point not an ending point. We pray that as you get out into the community and see God working in and through you, that you will find ways beyond this summer to serve Him in your community.
