There are wonderful opportunities for all ages to sing or play, and to use your special musical talents to inspire praise and lead our church in a great worship experience each week. With so many options before you, it is very easy to get involved in the worship ministry.
Whether you are a child, a teenager, adult, or senior adult, you will not want to miss out on the many opportunities our worship ministry has to offer. You may have interest in singing in a choir, playing an instrument in the orchestra, or helping in media; whatever your interest, we have a place for you.
The Choir and Vocal Teams help lead our congregation in our worship services. They also present several special productions throughout the year in conjunction with the orchestra including Easter, Christmas, and Patriotic services.
The choir is a vital part to our Sunday morning worship as they help lead our congregation. No audition is necessary to join the choir, just a willing heart and a worshipful spirit. The choir rehearses each Wednesday night (except July and December). Rehearsals begin in room B2200 (choir rehearsal room) on the 2nd floor of B building (Calvary Central) at 6:00p on Wednesday evenings.
The Vocal Teams also play a big part in leading our congregation in worship each week. Each team sings on a rotation and there is a simple audition that takes place prior to being on the team.
This Senior Adult Choir is an integral part of our Music Ministry that sings at Calvary once each month, does outreach once a month and goes on tour every October. Rehearsals are the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.

A ministry available to all children ages three years old through 5th grade. MusicQuest meets on Sunday evenings from 5:30p–6:30p. This year, we will meet from September until May. Our purpose is to navigate children towards God through music. This is done in different ways, depending on the age group.
There are opportunities for middle school and high school students through our student choirs.
Vertical Generation (VG) is a gathering of high school students, learning and growing in lifestyle worship in the context of community.
VG seeks to share the love of Christ through experiences ranging from leading worship to community engagement, including a yearly mission trip. Our goal is to know God and make Him known.
Exalt is a middle school ministry which encourages worship through music and the arts. This ministry is led by Annie Brown and a team of adult sponsors. As a ministry within the church and as an outreach to the community, your 6th-8th grade student is equipped to evangelize, host block parties, and go on a mission trip as a means of sharing Jesus with others.
The orchestra plays a vital part in leading our congregation instrumentally in worship in all of our morning services. They also present several special productions throughout the year in conjunction with the choir including Easter, Christmas, and Patriotic services. From flutes and violins to timpani and trombones, we offer a place for every instrument. At least a high school level of proficiency is requested in order to be a part of the orchestra. Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights and begin at 6:30p in the Worship Center at Calvary Central.
The band is a critical part of leading our worship services each week and play in the 9:15a, 10:45a services at Calvary Central and at 11:15a at Calvary West. The rhythm section consists of keys, drums, bass, acoustic and electric guitars.
The production teams, though behind the scenes, are crucial to leading the people of Calvary in worship. These teams consist of audio (sound), lighting, graphics (lyrics) and video. For more information, contact Chad Conger.
