The Women’s Ministry at Calvary strives to meet women where they are in their walk with Christ. We want to help women become engaged in ministry to mature as a disciple of Christ, and in doing so, step out to expand His kingdom. We do this by offering weekly bible studies for women and some special events during the year.

Connecting with God Through Prayer
Friday, April 30 • 7:00p

We know that prayer is essential. And it’s a vital part of what God wants to do here on earth. We also know He prayed and has commanded us to pray. If Jesus sought a life of prayer, so should we. Yet so many of us struggle to be disciplined in this area of our lives. Join us this month and be encouraged in cultivating a life of prayer. We will look at different groups and things scripture tells us to pray specifically for and put together a prayer notebook to help us be more intentional and focused in prayer as a part of our daily lives. Just in time for the National Day of Prayer the following week.

Registration includes materials for your own personal prayer notebook/journal. The kit can be picked up at the Peace Haven campus office the week of the event. Pick-up details will be sent via email after registration.

Cost: $10 per participant includes supplies

We were not meant to do life alone.  We were created to be part of a community.  Titus 2:3-5 encourages women to connect with other women, to share life experiences and walk side by side in the faith journey.

Woman2Woman is a mentoring ministry designed to 1) Provide training for women with a desire to reach out across generations, but not sure where to begin. 2) To help women understand and embrace the differences between generations. 3) To create favorable environments where we can share life together.

If you would like to connect with a trustworthy woman of mature, authentic faith to help encourage you as you navigate the day to day and the difficult seasons of life, or if you are feeling God leading you to share your faith and invest in women of the next generation, please contact one of our Woman2Woman team members. It does not matter how much experience you have or what your age may be, you can be a part of this unique ministry. You may have the gift of sewing or prayer, or the gift of putting together patterns and colors, or the gift of coordinating resources. God can use you if you are willing. Under the leadership of Melody Welch, this ministry has become as much about prayer and ministering to the community as it is about quilting. Quilts are given to children and adults who have experienced difficulties in life, serious illness, or loss.

“A day stitched in prayer is less likely to unravel; instructed with God’s Wisdom, threaded with His Love.”
