From newly born through Kindergarten, we know that God works in a preschoolers life expressing His love through the care and compassion of adults. Each child is special and unique as they learn about Jesus through music, age appropriate lessons, creative activities, and play. We feel the preschool years are best used for laying foundations for the child to accept Christ as they grow.
“Jesus grew in wisdom, and in stature in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52. Through the principles found in this verse, our prayer is that your child, while in 1st grade and all the way through 5th grade, come to genuine saving faith in Christ and develop into fully devoted followers of Him. Through Bible Fellowship, Calvary Kids Club, and so much more, your child will be challenged to trust in God, make wise decisions, and treat others they want to be treated.
Your child’s safety is our first priority. We want to provide an experience and environment that you feel safe leaving your children in. We strive to provide a safe environment, utilizing tools like electronic check-in, background checks for volunteers, and best-practice adult to child ratios.
We carefully adhere health regulations, from the disinfectant that we use on toys and tables to the dust that we wipe off of window sills. We understand that kids roll around on the floor and that preschoolers chew on toys – you can be confident that we carefully plan so kids can be kids!
It is best for a child to be in the same environment with the same teachers every week – it allows for trust and helps the child be comfortable. And, when you see the same adult every week, it helps you feel comfortable dropping your child off! Our ideal and goal is to have as many familiar faces in our classrooms every single week as possible.
Fun draws kids in and takes them from passively listening to actively engaged. Fun is the avenue that we use in kids ministry to engage their hearts and minds and to best prepare them to hear the gospel of Jesus.
