Peace Haven Campus Worship Center Renovation
It’s almost demo day! That’s right, the long anticipated renovation of our Peace Haven Campus worship center is about to start.
On Monday, January 4, work will begin on the update to the worship center. The renovation consists of new theatre-style seating, luxury vinyl flooring, fresh paint colors, updated lighting, and an innovative treatment to the existing rock wall. Examples are located below.
The goal is to bring our facility up to date while creating a warm, inviting, and friendly environment where the people of God can gather in worship, and those seeking a relationship with Jesus would feel welcomed.
So you may be asking the question, where will the Peace Haven campus meet during this time?
Our leadership wanted to make sure that whatever gathering solution we embraced would be done with excellence, and create an environment conducive for worship and teaching. We also wanted to ensure we could continue to stream our services since the vast majority of our church family is still worshipping with us online. After considering various options, one solution far outweighed others.
Starting January 10, our Calvary family will be gathering together at Calvary West for our Sunday worship services.
This allows us to have unified worship services together as a church family! And it checks all the boxes! We can gather the most number of people possible in an incredible venue that already has streaming capabilities – while also being the most cost-effective!
We will have two identical services, one at 9:00a and one at 10:30a. Our worship teams will be a combination of both campuses, and Pastor Will and Pastor Ryan will be sharing the teaching time.
While we know that this plan will involve some sacrifices of time and convenience, we believe those are far outweighed by the great gift of fellowship and togetherness – which all of us have been craving during this season of social distancing.
